The gaps between riders are 5 minute warm-ups in the indoor arena, should the sand-ring footing be unusable. This is the schedule we expect to use. In the event of good weather, the times may change. Please check online (Sunnybrook website in the blog) on Thursday evening for updated times. If times need to change, you will only be moved later unless contacted by telephone directly.

Show jumping begins at 6pm, running in this order: Team Challenge, Entry, Pre-Entry A, Pre-Entry B, Intro.

Just Horses is back by popular demand!

Just Horses is a six week workshop where participants of all levels will use live horse models to learn and improve their drawing techniques.

Teaching artist Nola McConnan aoca/aestc, will be returning to share her knowledge of equine drawing.

Learn to sketch basic anatomy, draw horses in motion, and the secrets of capturing horse expressions.

Located at the Horse Palace on the C.N.E grounds.

Monday’s 12 noon to 3pm

Successful weekend at RCRA show

Despite freezing temperatures, Sunnybrook riders had a very successful weekend at Royal Canadian Riding Academy.

Leasers Alex Meghi (on Poomba), Natasha Croucroft (on Sherlock), Irina Dubinski (on Yukon) and Haley Green (on Bigshot) brought home a variety of ribbons in levels ranging from walk/trot up to Prix St. George (Irina on Yukon).

Sunnybrook coaches Meagan Meloney (on Rune) and Christine Somerville (on Willow) both moved up a level to 3rd and 4th respectively, bringing the championship ribbons up to 4 out of 6 horses.
